The Chinese leadership has hailed their aerospace industry people, as “brave”, for the successful landing of orbiter probe ‘Tianwen 1’ and it’s payloads, incl. lander, camera and rover ‘Zhurong’ on Mars, in the area, Utopia Planitia.
‘Tianwen’, meaning “questions to heaven” or “quest for heavenly truth”, is adopted from the title of the famous poem, by Qu Yuan (c.340-278 BC).
‘Zhurong’, meaning ‘god of fire’, is an important personage in Chinese mythology and Chinese folk religion, meritoriously linked to both the Yan Emperor and Yellow Emperor.
